- Your home must be located in the Flemish Region and be at least 30 years old.
- You must be registered at the address of the property and actually live there.
- No renovation grant must have been applied for in the past 10 years for the same home.
- Invoices submitted must be no more than 2 years old and not predate the purchase of the property. The minimum amount of invoices must be €2,500. You can submit invoices from a contractor (such as DryPlan) as well as from purchased materials if you do the work yourself.
Premium amount
The premium is income-related and amounts to:
- 20% of approved invoices, up to a maximum of €2,500
- 30% of approved invoices, up to a maximum of €3,333
- Do you combine moisture control with other renovation work, such as insulation? Then the total premium amount can reach €10,000.
How to apply.
- You can apply for the premium digitally through My VerbouwLoket. You cannot apply for My VerbouwPremie on paper. Not familiar enough with this? Then you can contact the housing counter of your municipality or the Energy House for your municipality(opens in new window) to help you with your application.
- For the same building, you can apply for My Rebuilding Premium separately for each category of works. You can also apply for several categories of works at once.
- You must submit your premium application no later than 2 years after the date of the last invoice (=final invoice(open definition)). Only advance and interim invoices with invoice date within the 2 years before the premium application date(open definition) are eligible for the calculation of the premium amount.
Municipal grants for moisture control
In addition to the Flemish renovation premium, some municipalities in Flanders offer additional financial support for moisture control works. Whether you qualify for a municipal premium depends on the specific regulations in your municipality.
